SUMMARY:
This session will review strategies to reduce health care associated urinary tract infections in residents. The session will comprehensively review infection prevention strategies, including clinical, surveillance and nursing interventions, that will reduce the burden of urinary tract infections in nursing facilities.

Infection Preventionists (IP), Nursing Home leadership, Clinical leadership

New knowledge and tools surrounding the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of facility associated infections including Urinary Tract Infections (UTI’s), Sepsis, Pneumonia and COVID-19.
