Nursing Home Immunization Affinity Group – 11.2.22

Influenza, pneumococcal and COVID vaccines are proven to reduce death and hospitalization among nursing home residents. Many factors influence vaccine acceptance including perceptions about vaccine safety and flu severity, concerns about side effects and health equity with rates often varying by factors such as resident age, race, facility type and location. This series is designed to share best practices for root cause analysis of rates, increasing facility vaccination rates and collaboration with community partners to increase overall community immunization rates.
