CMS is hosting this session with the American Hospital Association’s Hospitals Against Violence initiative to provide insights on addressing violence in health care communities and workplaces. The session will review the current state of workplace violence and showcase AHA’s tools for hospitals. Evangelical Community Hospital in Pennsylvania will also present its “Safe to Care” program, which includes staff training, policy revision, investment in equipment, and community outreach.
