SUMMARY:
This session will discuss the burden of multi-drug resistant organisms (MDROs) and summarize infection prevention and control (IPC) interventions to reduce MDRO-related healthcare-associated infections that can lead to sepsis. We will also discuss enhanced barrier precautions and how to integrate them into daily IPC practices.
