Community Protectors: Children Help Communities Stay Safe from COVID-19
November 5, 2021
CDC, CDC Foundation, and Oklahoma Tribal Engagement Partners created Community Protectors to educate children on ways they can stay safe and help protect their communities from the spread of COVID-19. The 20-page coloring book, created for children age 5-10, uses stunning illustrations, ready for crayon and colored pencil, and a lively story that conveys culturally relevant and science-based messages for Native children about preventing the spread of COVID-19. Written by James Wallace (Choctaw Nation) and illustrated by Patrick Rolo (Bad River Band of Ojibwe).
