Opioid Boot Camp Session: Opioid Dangers, Complications and Comorbidity Factors

In this webinar, participants will learn about the dangers associated with opioid misuse. The relationship between increased risk of opioid use disorder when patients/clients are experiencing mental health and physical issues will be presented. The risk associated with specific disorders such as depression and post-traumatic disorder (PTSD) and opioid misuse will also be shared with participants. Additionally, the changes in the brain that occur with opioid misuse will be emphasized. Participants will have an opportunity to actively participate by posting questions and sharing comments.
